Deposit Checks with Mobile Deposit
Deposit a check in your account right from your phone! No more trips to the branch to make deposits.
To deposit a check with mobile deposit, follow the instructions below:
- Log in to the First Farmers & Merchants mobile app on your smartphone.
- Click on "Deposit" to go to the mobile deposit page.
- Click on "New Deposit".
- Select the account that you wish to deposit the funds into.
- Enter the check amount.
- Endorse the check with your signature and write "For mobile deposit only" under the signature.
- Click on the "Capture Image" button. Take a picture of the front and back of the check. Make sure the entire check is in the picture and the image is clear with no shadows.
- Click "Deposit" to complete the deposit.

Manage Alerts
Alerts can let you know the moment something important happens in your account. Messages you choose to receive are sent instantly via email, text*, or push notifications to your smartphone with our Mobile Banking app.
- Account alerts based on account balance, transaction, or transfer activity
- Security alerts based on Online Banking activity
- Card alerts based on transaction activity
- Scheduled alerts for regular updates on account balances and recent transactions
To add an alert, click on the "Manage Alerts" quick link from the Mobile Banking app home screen.

Text Banking
To enroll for Text Banking:
- Login to Online Banking
- Select 'Profile' at the top right of screen
- Under Mobile Banking, click on 'Manage Devices'
- Select 'Add New Device'
- Enter in the information that is appropriate for your device type and your device's phone number
To use Text Banking, use the commands below to view your account information:
- Text BAL to 96924 to view your account balance
- Text HIST and the account nickname to 96924 to receive transaction history
- Text ATM or BRANCH to 96924 for branch locations or bank owned ATM’s
- Text HELP to 96924 for help
- Text STOP to 96924 to stop the service
